28 weeks...third trimester!

We've finally reached the home stretch...the third trimester! I have a feeling, though, that this last 12 weeks or so will seem like it takes forever! Of course, I'm secretly hoping it is more like 10 weeks. :)

Yesterday the baby was kicking a lot and we were able for the first time to feel her head or foot from the outside. When I would push on that hard surface under the skin, she would kick back at my hand! It was fun to have some actual interaction with our baby! Hopefully this won't be any indication of how she'll be as a teenager...

I'm feeling well, though I wasn't able to take the water aerobics class this month and I can tell a difference. Hopefully I can get back into it in October. I am noticing that I am getting short of breath much more quickly, and it is a bit frustrating, but as my belly grows I guess that is to be expected.

We have another ultrasound next Monday the 25th to make sure the placenta has moved up. We are hoping and praying that is the case so that there aren't complications that would force us to have a c-section. We hope to confirm at this ultrasound that this really is a girl!
