37 weeks...getting close!!

I forgot to post last week, but here is the posting for week 37 from parenting.com:
At 6 ½ pounds and 21 inches long, your baby is doing well. She's learning what it's like to breathe, inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid to perfect her skills. She can also suck her thumb, turn her head, swallow, blink, and grasp.

Last week at my doctor's appointment, she said that based on the progress I've made she doesn't think I'll go past my due date. Yahoo! Hopefully she is right. However, I'd love it if the baby waited at least until Thanksgiving! I have a lot of work to do this coming week to wrap up projects before the baby comes, so hopefully she will cooperate. I'm thinking that December 1 sounds like a good birthday...we will see!
