Six Months Old!

Brooke is 6 months old today! Here are some recent photos:

She is trying hard to sit on her own, but she always topples forward very quickly because she tries to reach for her feet!

Today we decided to celebrate Brooke's 6-month birthday by giving her her first taste of rice cereal. It was quite funny to see her reaction! She seemed to like it after she got used to the taste. Today she was really more interested in trying to grab the spoon!
Here is a funny video of Brooke's first meal. We made the rice cereal really runny at first just to see how she'd do with it, but we realized that we needed to make it thicker so that she wouldn't just spit it out! I think she actually ate some of the cereal after we made it thicker! Please ignore our silly mommy and daddy commentary!
