more animal adventures...

On Monday, Brooke turned eight months old! I can't believe it! She continues to amaze us every day. Right now her favorite things are her exersaucer, anything that lights up (especially the remote control!), sitting on our bed and playing with her toys and playing airplane with daddy. She seems like she's trying to crawl, but keeps getting high-centered on her chubby belly!

To celebrate her eight month birthday, we took Brooke to the Downtown Aquarium in Denver on Tuesday. She loved the fish, especially the bright ones. They also had tigers in the Rainforest Exhibit, and she liked looking at them.

After our trip to the aquarium, we went to visit my friend Amy and her family at her parents' home in Littleton. She was in town for the week, and it was so much fun to catch up with her and to see how much her three boys have grown! Here is a photo of the four kids, Adam, Brooke, Luke and Jacob. Brooke was amused by the boys and enjoyed watching them play! I am thankful for my friendship with Amy...we've been friends for almost 30 years! Brooke is flirting with Adam...he didn't seem too happy with it!
