The Zoo!

On Ken's day off last week we decided to take Brooke to the zoo. My friend, Corrie, has invited us to go a couple of times with she and her kids, but it hasn't worked out for my schedule. It was a fun day, though I think that Brooke is still a little bit young to really appreciate most of the exhibits. Her favorite things were anything that involved the water. She laughed at the hippos as they splashed and swam and was excited to see the fish and penguins. I don't think she knew what to think of these giraffes, she didn't seem too interested! We may have to wait till she's a bit older to make another trip.

Still a little small for this huge chair!

I forgot to post this on my last entry...while in Ft. Collins I was able to help throw a baby shower for my friend, Paula (in the center with the blue striped shirt). We had fun celebrating with her and helping her prepare for her upcoming baby!
