first trip to the ER

Last night we had our first trip with Brooke to the ER. She got sick in the afternoon and just couldn't keep anything down, so we ended up having to take her in to the hospital. It was such a hard experience for us to see her in so much pain, I just wanted to make it better! She was a real trooper...we had to wait over an hour in the waiting room, then we were in the back room for at least 2 hours. She had to get an IV, it was horrible but she really did a great job handling the whole ordeal. I think it was harder on us! Luckily, Ken was able to come with us, I don't know how I would have done all of it by myself! She is feeling better now, just catching up on sleep and getting pumped full of medicine. Hopefully we won't have to visit the ER again anytime soon!
