catching up...finally!

It has been over a month since my last post, so I'll try to catch up on the past month with these photos. I guess there hasn't really been a whole lot of excitement in February! Here are some random pics from the month:

Croup #2: A couple weeks ago, Brooke and I went up to my parents' house in Denver for the weekend to visit family. While there, she got her second bout of the croup and it was awful. I was glad to be in the company of my sister the PA and my mom the nurse! On the way back home she was totally wiped out from being sick and fell asleep while reading her book. Little Miss Independent has been wanting to do everything herself, which has resulted in many more messes. She always wants to take the yogurt container and spoon from me, but this is what the scene ends up looking like...she tries to drink the yogurt or eat it with her hands! Yum.

For my photography class we were supposed to take "stop action" photos. The weather has been horrible this week, so I made Brooke brave the cold for a few minutes to take these photos. The blue sky is deceiving, it was freezing cold and windy! She didn't seem to mind, though. Afterward she had to sit in the stroller while I took a bunch of pictures of skateboarders! What a trooper.
