Hailey Elizabeth is here!

Hailey Elizabeth was born on Thursday, October 2! It was a bit of a surprise as my due date wasn't until October 11, but I'm just so glad that she waited until AFTER my sister's wedding! It was a quick labor, I arrived at the hospital around 5am and Hailey was born at 8:28! Good thing we live so close to the hospital! She weighed 8lb. 2oz., almost a full pound heavier than her big sister! We were able to go home on Friday and we're slowly getting used to being a family of four. Hailey is healthy and doing great, I forgot how quiet newborns are! Here are some pics of her first few days of life...
We think that she looks quite a bit like Brooke did when she was born, except for the hair color. Brooke's was red from birth, and Hailey's is dark brown. I will post some comparison photos of the two of them soon. Here we are leaving the hospital...

Brooke has been sweet with "baby sister", giving hugs and kisses. She's definitely had her moments of jealousy, but hopefully she will enjoy having Hailey around!

Thanks to all who prayed for us and this baby, we are so thankful to have little Hailey in our family! I'll try to be better about updating the blog with photos of both girls!
