catching up...

I'm doing a marathon posting session tonight...there are three new posts. I have been slacking with my blogging lately, so now I am trying to catch up.

Brooke is usually very sweet with Hailey. She calls her "Bay Hay", a shortened version of "Baby Hailey". She often asks "Please, hold Bay Hay?" We can't quite get her to realize that she actually has to HOLD Hailey up, she wants her to just sit on her lap!

We were getting ready to leave to go somewhere and Brooke said "read book to Bay Hay?" I looked over and she was "reading" her book to Hailey! So cute. Hailey looks thrilled!

Hailey already seems very enamored with her big sister. I had her in her crib with this aquarium toy, and Brooke was standing there trying to help make the toy more interesting. I love how Hailey is smiling and almost laughing at Brooke in this video! Brooke loves to watch Hailey lay under the fishies, and often asks "please, Bay Hay play with fishies?"

 

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my parents' house. Everyone was very entertained by Brooke at dinner as she counted to 10, said her ABCs and told us all the sounds of every animal! What a ham. Here we are after dinner:
