Santa's Workshop

I guess we hadn't had enough of amusement parks, because the week after we got home from Disney World we decided to take the kids to the North Pole/Santa's Workshop, a local place with Christmas-themed rides and games for kids. It is open year-round, but just seemed appropriate to visit during Christmas. It was FREEZING cold outside and I was not prepared for that. I guess I was still thinking like we were in Orlando. I didn't bring hats or gloves for the kids! We spent a lot of time warming up in the snack bar and shops between rides!

Here are the girls riding the reindeer carousel:

Brooke loved that she could ride almost every ride here! She was too little for many of the rides at Disney World. I guess we could have saved a lot of money by just coming here for her Birthday!!
Ken and Hailey riding the Christmas ornament ride.

You can see that I put my gloves on Hailey to try and keep her hands warm! Poor thing!

for some reason Hailey's hair looks like it's getting a little redder. is it? or maybe it's just her outfit or her pink cheeks that change the way she looks in these pictures...

I don't know, Hannah, sometimes I think it is getting redder, too! Then other days it just looks brown. Her eyes are the same way, sort of grayish-greenish-brown, always changing! I need to see some pics of you as a little girl, I bet you did look a lot like Brooke! We actually thought about Hannah for her name, wouldn't that have been wild! (Another family member "took" the name before we could use it, but it is still one of my favorites!) :)
