Jake and the Swings!

Our dog, Jake, has been pretty curious about this little girl who has taken our attention away from him! Brooke, however, has all but ignored him until recently. We think that at first he just looked like a gray blob to her and she couldn't really see him! She has recently been watching him as he walks around and seems a little more interested. Of course, we know they will be best buds as soon as Brooke learns that whatever food she throws over her high chair will be quickly consumed by the dog! Anyway, from time to time we put Brooke in front of Jake to see what she does. This day she seemed sort of interested in him, of course he just wanted to give her a big kiss!

Today the weather was beautiful, so I took Brooke on a long walk. When we got to the park by our house I decided to try the swing out, and Brooke seemed to really like it! I didn't capture her smiles in the photos, but she was really amused by the movement! Or maybe she was amused by the 2-year-old swinging next to her! It was fun to see her swinging, she looked so grown up!
