Brooke's first road trip

We just got back from taking Brooke on her first road trip! We drove to Springfield, Illinois to visit Ken's family. Grandma and Grandpa Knoles had never met Brooke, so they had a lot of fun seeing her! Here are some photos from the adventure:

I decided to bring some milk along to see if Brooke would take a bottle while we were driving so that we didn't have to stop every time she needed to eat for me to feed her. She did great with the bottle this time (she has not been great at taking a bottle most of the time). In fact, she drank 2 1/2 bottles at one time! She kept trying to help me out by holding the bottle with her hands. It was so cute!
On the way to Springfield, we stopped in Kansas City and took Brooke to her first baseball game. Her daddy is a huge baseball fan, so he was glad to introduce her to his favorite sport! Of course, she spent the whole game either sleeping or crying because she was so tired. Oh well, there will be other games! She got a certificate from Kauffman stadium for her first baseball game!Doesn't she look thrilled to be there?
Another part of the trip was going to cousin Rachel's college graduation. Can you believe that these two are cousins? A college grad and a five-month-old! Here we are with Rachel at her graduation party.
Brooke enjoyed visiting Grandma and Grandpa Knoles for the first time.

Brooke did really well during this crazy trip, she was a real trooper! On Sunday she turned five months old...we spent the day driving home...not much of a celebration!
