thanksgiving, etc.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my aunt Layna's house. There were about 15 people there, it was great to catch up with the family. We have had some battles at mealtime lately with Brooke...she has become very picky about what she will eat. She loves cheese, fruit, vegetables (especially sweet potatoes), and a few other things. We've had a hard time getting her to try new things lately! At Thanksgiving she did try the cranberries...and loved them! She also smeared them all over her face and in her hair! Oh well.

I wasn't good about taking very many photos at Thanksgiving, but here is one of Layna reading a book to Brooke. We also tried hard to get a family photo taken on Thanksgiving, and the whole process was rather comical. In all of the photos either one of us is not looking at the camera or Brooke is screaming or crying. Oh well, we'll try again later. Here are some shots from our effort (click to enlarge):
We had our first real snow of the season a few days ago, and Brooke loved looking out the window at the falling flakes. She also loved watching Daddy sweep off the deck!
