zoo!
We had a relaxing holiday weekend at home. We had hoped to go to my parents' cabin for the weekend, but all three of us were a bit under the weather, so we stayed home and slept a lot! We did manage a few fun outings...we went to the zoo on Monday morning, and the weather was perfect...not too hot, not too cold. Brooke really enjoyed the animals, especially feeding the giraffes! Here are some photos...
We were surprised that she wasn't scared of the giraffe taking the cracker from her hand.
These peacocks were beautiful...they walked around freely all around the zoo.
One of Brooke's favorite parts of the day was getting out of the stroller and playing on the playground! She loved climbing on these metal bug sculptures.

i can't believe she wasn't afraid of the giraffe tongue - so slimy! i remember when we took the orphans in kenya to feed giraffes at a local games-reserve, half of them were screaming and crying from fright! you've got a brave little girl, there.
She is too cute. Ah, kids and the zoo. they always love it. and congrats on being 20 weeks now. waiting to hear what the ultrasound says your having.
