18 months!

Brooke turned 18 months old on June 6th! I can't believe how quickly the past 1.5 years have gone. It seems like just yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital!

It seems like just in the last few months her little personality is really starting to blossom. Her vocabulary is growing, too. We are starting to realize that we have to be careful what we do and say, she is starting to mimic everything we do! Some of these things are really cute, though. When we sit down to dinner she folds her hands and says "pray?" She also looks at me and says "uh, oh, diaper" when she fills it. Ha! Maybe that is step one to potty training? Let's hope so!

Here are some comparison photos of Brooke at 6 and 18 months. Wow, what a change! I'm glad that she actually has some hair now!

We took Brooke to a new restaurant and kids' play area that opened near our house to celebrate her 18-month b-day. She was especially fond of the orange sherbet we got her for dessert!

Her favorite part of the play area was the fire engine. She got upset if any other kids got on the truck or tried to drive. Uh oh. That's our little feisty redhead!
They had a huge sandbox play area that Brooke enjoyed. She liked the feeling of walking in the sand with bare feet!
The bounce house was a bit tough for her to walk in!
Brooke loved the music room!
Her first ride on a carousel...with lots of supervision!
Happy 18 months, we love you!!
