weekend events...

I spent the weekend in Littleton at my parents' house, it was a nice break from being cooped up in my house and my parents loved spending time with Brooke and Hailey. Brooke loved all the attention! My sister found this cute costume for Brooke and she also found a Tigger costume for Hailey, but we didn't even get a chance to put it on her. Brooke went trick-or-treating around their neighborhood, but didn't love the experience...she was a bit scared and burst into tears when the first neighbor answered his door! This costume was so big on her that I'm sure we can use it next year, too. Her face says it all, she just wasn't too keen on the whole Halloween thing!

On Sunday Hailey was one month old! Wow, time flies. She is sleeping fairly well, usually going for 4-6 hours at a time which is great. She is also smiling a lot more which is so much fun, she has such a sweet little smile! At her 4 week/1 month check-up she weighed 10lb 1oz and was 21.5 inches long...in the 75th percentile for both! Here are some recent photos, I was finally able to capture some smiles on camera!

We are all wondering what color her eyes will be...sometimes they look blue, and other times they look darker, more of a brown color. We'll see!!
Brooke asks to hold Hailey from time to time, and I try to encourage her affection of her little sister! We are trying to get Brooke to realize that she needs to actually HOLD her, she usually just wants Hailey to sit in her lap!
