random update

It has been a busy month. Can you believe it is almost March!? Crazy. Here is a quick update on what we've been up to...

Brooke loves her "glo-e" bear that lights up. It has helped her feel more comfortable sleeping without her pacifiers. The thing is HUGE, but he usually just stays on her bed.

She has been saying some really funny things lately that I want to make sure to record. When I was driving up to Denver last weekend, I came to a stoplight and she looked outside and said "Oh my, holy cow, what's going on here?!" What in the world? I don't remember saying that, but she is a little parrot and must have heard one of us say something similar! So funny. She repeats this funny phrase from time to time.

I think that language development in kids is fascinating. One thing Brooke has been doing lately is putting the "ing" on the end of the wrong word. The other day she was playing with one of her dolls in a wagon. It was falling out and she said "uh oh, my baby is fall outing".  Cute.

This video shows Hailey laughing as Brooke was bouncing a ball on the kitchen floor. I was trying to hold Hailey while I videotaped, so it isn't a great recording, but you can at least hear Hailey laughing. I love her laugh, she gets such a kick out of watching her big sister!
