Easter

The day before Easter, Ken was supposed to get off work early. When he got to work, they realized that they had too many people there, and sent him home. He came home even earlier and surprised us with Easter gifts! An Easter book for Brooke, and these white roses for me. Aren't they beautiful?!
Since Ken usually isn't home at dinner, we decided to go out and have a fun family dinner at It'z. Brooke loved the pizza, salad, and especially the bounce house! We sat in the cartoon room, and she had fun watching TV during dinner. A real treat!
Ken decided to take Brooke on the little race car ride. She was a little scared, but loves anything that she can drive, so she had fun!

We had a fun and busy Easter. The day started off with a big snowstorm that I don't think was expected by the forecasters! My grandparents wanted to buy matching dresses for the girls, and I bought two sets, one for warm weather and one for cooler weather. We definitely had to go with the dress that came with a little sweater!

I tried to get a shot of the girls together in their dresses. Brooke was not in a great mood that morning, so this was the best I could get...
After church, we drove to my grandparents' house in Boulder for a large family celebration. It was a lot of fun, everyone loved playing with the girls, and I was happy to have a little break from watching them both! Here is Brooke on her little egg hunt with my mom...
Hailey with my dad. I think she has his eyes, I don't know of anyone else on either side with green eyes!
Mmmm, peeps!
Sharing a peep with Grammie. Isn't she lucky!?
Hailey loved this little booster seat my parents brought.
Daddy and Hailey.
I really wanted to try and get a family photo because we really don't have any good ones! At least most of us are looking at the camera...
After the Easter celebration, we had a little family birthday party for my mom in Littleton with chocolate fondue. Yikes. I think I gained ten pounds that day!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. He is Risen!
