six months old!

Hailey turned 6 months old on April 2! I can't believe it has already been 6 months since she was born. People say to savor the time that children are young because it goes by so quickly...wow, that is so true! I am finding that I'm trying to really love every moment of these stages with Hailey since we don't know if we'll have any more babies! She is at such a fun stage right now, learning and changing so quickly!

We have her 6 month checkup tomorrow, so I will update her weight, etc, then. She seems to be growing quickly, she's already wearing some 12-month clothes. She can roll over and sit up by herself for a few seconds before toppling over. Hailey is generally a very happy baby, and smiles all of the time. She loves to watch Brooke play and dance, and laughs at most everything that her big sister is doing. I can't wait to watch them play together when they get older!

She is good at rolling from front to back, but hasn't figured out how to get her whole body over from back to front. Brooke did these in the opposite order, which is kind of funny!

Here she is getting ready for her first taste of baby food (rice cereal). Mmmm....

She has not been too excited about the baby food, I'm having a hard time getting her to really eat any of it, it usually just ends up back on her bib. She also won't take a bottle at all, I'm so anxious for her to do something other than nurse constantly! I'm sure it will happen eventually. I did try some squash earlier this week, and she seemed to be a little more interested in that.

Here are some 6 month photos of Brooke to compare. She definitely had a little more hair than Hailey has! I guess there are some similar traits, but for the most part I don't think they look much like sisters!
