bubbles & flowers

When we got back from Illinois, the weather at home was beautiful for a few days. We had some pretty nasty weather in IL, so it was such a nice treat to come home to the sun and warm weather! Our friends in Taylorville got this little bubble machine for Brooke, and we enjoyed trying it out on the front porch.

For some reason my tulips always bloom really late. Maybe I didn't plant them in the right place? Anyway, when we got home from the trip they had finally bloomed! Brooke kept saying she wanted to go out and smell them. It is always so hard for me to get a picture of Brooke...she's always on the move. But I snuck a few of her while she was looking at the flowers.

Brooke doesn't really know how to sniff, she ends up blowing air through her teeth! Funny.
