update

I am finding that it is hard to keep up to date on this blog, but I'm going to try to do some mass postings every once in a while. I'm determined to try and keep up on it! We have been really busy lately, I have had a lot of freelance work and we're getting ready to take a road trip to visit Ken's family in Illinois. It will be interesting to see how sane we are after a road trip with a 7 month old and 2 year old. Yikes.

These pics didn't really fit in with my other postings, so here are some random photos of recent events...

Brooke is FINALLY in a real bed! She fought it, but I knew that once she slept in her big girl bed once that she'd really like it. I am so glad to have the crib for Hailey and have her out of the pack & play. Brooke has done really well in her bed, and I'm glad to have her in a twin bed and not a toddler bed, I think she'd outgrow a toddler size pretty quickly! This trundle bed was my sister's when she was little, it is fun to be able to use it again!

Brooke is usually pretty sweet to Hailey, but of course she wants to play with whatever Hailey is playing with, even if it is a baby toy. Hailey loves this little aquarium play gym, and I guess Brooke decided that she needed to sit and play with it, too.
After going to the park one day, Brooke wanted to keep playing with the hats they were wearing. She played this game where she would put a hat on Hailey and then one on herself, take them off, and do it again. She is so funny when she's playing with Hailey...she'll say "Hailey, here is a hat for you. OK, Hailey, now I will take the hat off." She acts like a little mommy!
