We went to Disney World for Brooke's 3rd birthday in December! Going with a 1 and 3 year old was a bit crazy, but my parents were with us, so we outnumbered the toddlers, which really helped! We had a great time, and the kids really enjoyed all of the characters and rides! I think we'll wait a while before going again, though. (Especially since we'll have to pay for both kids and airline tickets for all 4 of us next time!)
Brooke loved seeing the Nemo show!

Her favorite was getting to meet Mickey, Minnie and the rest of the crew. There was a little room where you could stand in line to meet all the characters. She was very distraught that everyone was there but Daisy!

Not too keen on the kiss from Donald.

We went to Magic Kingdom on Brooke's actual birthday.

Brooke wanted to ride this dinosaur ride at Animal Kingdom over and over. I did not!

Meeting "Chick" and Dale, as Brooke calls them.

The 3-D show was a little much for them...they didn't want to keep the glasses on!

Getting ready for a little Mickey b-day party at the hotel.

We had fairly cool weather most of the time, but had one nice day that we spent at the hotel pool. Hailey loved the little fountains!

There was also a really neat covered park near the pool area.

Brooke loved this Coke bottle at Hollywood Studios that misted water from the top.

The girls with Grammie & Grandpa.

I can't believe we actually got a pic with all four of us (mostly) looking at the camera!

Riding "It's a Small World"...again. It was Brooke's favorite ride!

Christmastime at Disney World is amazing. They decorate everything, and have some really neat shows and events. We have gone at Christmas for several years and love it!

Each park had a HUGE Christmas tree at the entrance that had decorations unique to that park. This was Magic Kingdom.

At the end of our trip, we met my friends Jeff and Anne for dinner. We were all on the same STINT team in Hungary over 10 years ago, and they live in Orlando now with their 3 kids! Brooke enjoyed meeting and playing with Katy and Lydia. It was great to catch up with them!

so glad you had fun, we had a blast there as well! It wasn't cold for us...and where was Santa's workshop... I had no idea about that!
Santa's Workshop is here in Colorado Springs, at the base of Pikes Peak. I guess I should have clarified the location!! If you're ever in Colorado for staff conference or something you should check it out. Lots of fun rides for little kids, and it is open most of the year!
