Brooke-isms

Brooke is such a character. She definitely lives up to her redhead personality, and we never know what she is going to say or do next! Here are some funny sayings we've heard over the past few months:

As we were sitting down to eat one morning, she looked around at all of us and said "everyone, welcome to breakfast!"

Brooke's nickname for Hailey is "Hailey the Baby". She will be going into the bathroom and say "Mom, I need to hurry and close the door so that Hailey the Baby doesn't come in!" The other day when we were playing outside, she said to me "Hey, Mommy the Grown Up!"

The process of potty training has been quite the chore for Brooke. But she does get really excited when we go somewhere and she gets to use a new potty! A few times we've gone into the stall and she'll say "Mommy! Look at that big, beautiful potty! And look at that silver flush!" I'm sure there have been some chuckles from people in nearby stalls.

A couple of weeks ago I had to get to my MOPS meeting early to help set some things up. I had to bring the girls into the room since childcare wasn't open yet. There is a stage in the room, Brooke went up on the stage, put her arms out like she was giving a speech and said "Ladies and Gentlemen!" I have no idea where she got that.

Brooke has had a recurring dream that she keeps talking about. Apparently her dream is that she has a "dryer machine" in the corner of her room. It is gray. One morning she woke up and said "See my new dryer machine over there behind my closet? A crocodile lives in there. But crocodiles are not supposed to live in dryer machines. Clothes live in dryer machines."
